Melrose - February 2, 2025: In a tightly contested battle, Apocalypse Now pulled off a stunning upset over the Elmwood Elkhorns. The game had everything from near fights, a penalty shot, perfectly executed plays and an empty net goal scored by Dave Silva. "We capitalized on key opportunities," Patrick Nikolaus said.
Slap Shots: It was Michael Moore's 4th hat-trick of the season and 33rd of his career. He won the scoring title for the 8th time and 5th year in a row...Silva was playing in his 25th game. He has only been beat once in a game against the Assmen in 2004...the playoffs begin on Friday night.
